Goblin is the new Gangnam Style!

The fashion industry has been stirred up as it set the newest fashion trend when South Korea's Goblin aired last December 2 and has been watched on South Korea's tvN cable network every Fridays and Saturdays starting December 2, 2016. With model actor Gong Yoo who debuted in the year 2007 during the release of “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince”, the Goblin drama eries have showcased the actor's keen fashion sense sending waves in South Korea's fashion industry. The grim reaper role played by Lee Dong Wook was equally cool and sexy. Yoo In-na who played the role of Kim Sun or Sunny in the show was the pretty and bright owner of a chicken shop who later fall in love with Lee Dong-wook's grim reaper character Wang Yeo. The main cast also include Kim Go-eun playing the role of Ji Eun-tak, Yook Sung-jae in the role of Yoo Deok-hwa and Jung Ji-hoon as young Yoo Deok-hwa. Goblin was penned by Kim Eun-sook who also wrote The Heir and Descendants of the Sun. The scenes were shot at Jeolla Province while the cemetery location was shot in Quebec, Canada.

The coat from Lanvin Paris’ 2016 fall-winter collection worn by Gong Yoo during the Episode 9 of the drama series was said to cost over 4 million won or roughly $3310 was now out of stock and are no more available for purchase. Other collections he wore from Tom Ford, Givenchy, and Burberry have not even been launched yet. But sales have been brisk and orders have no sign that its slowing down.

In the latest TV ratings result, Goblin have already surpassed the TV series The Legend of the Blue Sea top billed by superstar Lee Min Ho making it now the hottest prime time Korean drama show.
