I think we've all received this message by now, but in case you missed it, the game will be making balancing changes to some of the duelists' skills. We'll have more than a month before these come into effect (the changes will be made on May 23), so until then, you can still use these skills as you've been using them in the past.
Reasons for change:
JOEY WHEELER
Skill: Reinforcement
- No one likes using Reinforcement. The benefits of getting a Warrior-type draw after getting 1800 shaved off is far too risky and the risks far outweigh the rewards.
BANDIT KEITH
Skill: Switcheroo
- The exact opposite of the previous Skill's problem: Everyone uses it. It also isn't in line with the character since Bandit Keith only switched cards pretty rarely, so they'll be adding certain conditions to activate his Skill.
ISHIZU ISHTAR
Skill: Precognition
- Despite being a powerful Skill, only a few people use it because the activation conditions are too difficult to set up. Usually, when your LP is already half of your opponent's, that means defeat in maybe 3 turns.
ODION
Skill: Endless Trap Hell
- Since this is basically recycling your traps when you lose 3 traps, that's far too difficult to set up. It isn't used as much in higher tier Duels, so they'll change it to support Trap Card Decks.
