I have always wanted to get a tattoo but since in 2015 I got a huge surgery scar I been afraid to actually get one. Still I think sometime along the round I will get one. Also I just found out there are places like Tokyo where you can't acess some places if you have tattoos. What do you think of them? Would you get one or have one?

I have a fear of needles but I have two tattoos lol. I'm actually more afraid of piercings than tattoos. I personally don't see a problem with tattoos because they're a lot more than just there to look cool. Most people have tattoos that serve a purpose (as do mine). They are representations of milestones, they are reminders to the wearer, they bring some people comfort when needed. Some people just like the sensation of getting.

I do have plans to get more though

I have always seen tattoos as beautiful pieces of art and yes indeed they serve to remember people's milestones. What do you plan on getting next? KayDoubleU

I'm thinking about getting a blue quill with ink on my wrist and then a matching tattoo with my sister

I don't have any tattoo. But I appreciate beautiful and meaningful tattoos. Some people get tattoos that they think are pretty or popular. It's good to hear people talking about the meaning of their tattoos specially if it's inspirational. You gotta think of them differently when you get to know the meaning behind those skin arts.

you're right many people just get a tattoo because it is the "cool" thing. I think they forget they will have it the rest of their life!

Correct. That's permanent on your skin.. well, unless you spend so much for laser. And as you age you get to realize how stupid you were getting those in the first place

We're not entirely sure yet. We're still working on different designs and colors.

I usually find a tattoo artist that specializes in a certain style (depending on what I want for the tattoo) then I kinda give them creative freedom come up with a design. As for how long, I design and redesign until I'm satisfied and that time period differs. Satisfaction and comfort with the decision are always key for a tattoo design.

I don`t like tattoos therefore I will never get one.I also am a christian and this religion doesn`t believe that tattoos are good and I highly agree. destroying your body with needles and ink isn`t healthy nor is it something I would advice anyone to participate in.

What kind of tattoos would you recommend for a 20 years old programmer.
