Yaoi the forbidden love

For me yaoi is one of my favourite in anime and manga .
first I didn't know what yaoi is but after I watch junjou romantica I became addict to it and I watch season two and I read the mango then I read all mango to that auther I wish one day I will be able to go to Japan to meet the auther .
yaoi is beautiful and there is some unique story line too.
I actually enjoy reading magna and watch yaoi
I also like shoujo magna that is involved comedy romance.
I would like to know what do you think about yaoi?

I fist came to know about Yaoi/Shounen-ai when I watched Pandora Hearts. It's not shounen-ai. It's not Yaoi. I know. But it was then that I started pairing a male character to another male which transformed me to who I am today.

My all-time favorite yaoi/shounen-ai series is Super Lovers.

Seems that people get scared of yaoi if they haven't seen it before in animes or mangas. I remember that before I could actually grasp what being gay was I thought it was ok to love everyone since I grew up reading manga and watching animes that had a lot of yaoi and yuri moments. I guess it just opens your mind a little.

True. I have friends who see me weird but they still treat me as friends. Liking (or obsessing) over weird stuff doesn't really make you weird at all. It's just a matter of having good people around you that you know won't see you differently after knowing you like seeing gays having sex with each other and stuff.

Linzz YES !! I've told some of my friends that I enjoy yaoi and they are so confused about it. But why is people not confused of many men liking yuri? seems like the same thing for me.

At first I thought of it weird especially if there are two masculine guys doing each other (lol). But it was only later that I find it attractive especially if the illustration is done sexily. While people see women/girls weak and would not mind if they see two girls altogether. Not that overwhelming or whatnot.

It's just that guys releases this aura of being independent while girls does the other. In most cases. Which makes Yaoi unacceptable while the other is fine-fine.
