  • Leonardi Dicaprio Gave Oscar Trophy to Government

Oh no, not the one he won for his role in The Revenant.

It was the Oscar trophy that Marlon Brando won for his role in the movie On the Waterfront. Leo was in possession of the trophy because it was given to him by The Wolf of Wall Street production company Red Granite Pictures as a gift for his 38th birthday.

Leo will voluntarily surrender the Oscar and artwork to the government after it was discovered that there were some "stolen funds" issues surrounding the purchase of these gifts.

Ah well, and here I thought that another famous personality didn't give a damn about trophies, be it the Oscars or the Grammy. I missed watching Marlon Brando's 'On the Waterfront'. I've checked out most of his other movies, including 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. Will make it point to watch this one.
