Maybe you are using a non-brand laptop? Because branded laptops never get damaged like this. I have been using hewlett packard means HP laptop for the last 4 years and I never faced any issues like that. You could also buy an HP laptop instead of getting a keyboard replaced. Well, you can also read hewlett packard reviews before purchasing any product from this company.

I just carry my phone with me most of the time. Since I commute to and from work.

Always for cellphone since everything is there from communication to entertainment. I always bring my cellphone since I have a lot of things to use my mobile cellphone like copy files from my laptop to cellphone and downloading it from internet cafe because of my studies, listening to music, contacting relatives or love ones, and other stuff. What I really like having my cellphone is I can a lot of this which makes me happy and sometimes when am bored I play games or do crazy stuff of it watching videos sharing games with friends, and etc.

I once had a college coach in my physical education (PE) team who always bring and wear a whistle and timer in his neck, that even when he died he wore them and his family never took them off him. A kid of respect for his being a passionate coach to his pupils. I still recall his jolly face and wearing the whistle and timer.

I will die without my ear phones and music player.

I also didn't care about smartphones as long as my phone can play mp3, mp4 or wma format. I only started owning a smartphone for the past 3 years. lol

The program was a radio drama series that runs typically for a week on a radio timeslot, that if you miss hearing a segment will get you lost track of the story. Unlike in TVs there can be video replays but on radio, hardly any. Making it a rare occasion really. Maybe if I was in the same situation and I heard it also that my seatmate was also listening to it, I would try to beg of requesting sharing to hear it just miss it.
I feel you. Replays of radio programs are hard to reach so you must not miss it. If I were in her shoes I would've asked you to share also.

YellowChevy Wow! That's a great experience! It's nice to share something that you love with a person (even a stranger) who loves it also. I want to experience that someday. But I'm afraid others would think I'm weird.HAHA..

hahaha...I have a somewhat similar experience recently, when a seatmate in a bus, ask me if she could share along an earpiece of my earphone. She said she overheard I was listening to a radio program which she said was also her fave. We shared my earphones along the bus ride. And when I'm about to alight the bus, she just give me back my earpiece, thank me and bid me goodbye. Though a bit inconvenient, I don't mind. What's important was that I've somehow found a friend from a complete stranger because of my earphones. I don't mind sharing, if its not really so bothersome. A least I've help brighten her day listening to her fave radio station through my gadget. I'm willing to share again should we cross path again. I find it a happy experience too.

Hauling around my laptop is a bit tedious on a day to day basis but I still have projects and blogs to work on so my phone and tablet are usually with me 24/7.
