In here, it is definitely basketball. I am not into this sport but I am aware of how popular it is. There are basketball courts in most of the places here.

Over here, it's Cricket and Football (Soccer) all the way. Tennis, Badminton, Hockey, and Chess are quite popular too. And the one player that more than 90% of the population in the country know and like is Sachin Tendulkar (Cricket).
